The Cowboy BBQ is the largest three day BBQ Extravaganza featuring the WORLD’S BEST BBQ Ribs, Pulled Pork, Tri-tip, Sausages, Chicken and more. The competition is fierce and the flavors rich as National Award Winning Rib Cookers of America and local grillers produce the best that their secret recipes have to offer.
We combine local and nationally known bands, the BEST BBQ IN TOWN, giant food court (Chinese, Mexican, local eateries and American foods — something for everyone), carnival rides and games, dance floor, arts and crafts, cantinas (serving water, beer, wine), to create the largest BBQ Extravaganza, right here in Henderson Nevada.

2008 was crowned "Boldest Griller in America" by Guy Fieri at the "Bring it Tong" pork competition by the national pork council. Over the years Steve has amassed several wins and championships culminating in his entry to the Sam's Club national tournament in Bentonville, Ark in 2012 Jack Daniel's World Championship in Lynchburg, TN. 2012 where he won first place in the cook's choice category. Also in 2012 Steve represented Las Vegas at the World Food Championship at Bally's Hotel and Casino Steve was featured on the Food Network show "Chopped" in July 2012 Steve apprenticed under Mike "the legend" Mills. For over 13 years prior to joining Emerald Island Casino in 2012, Steve served as the executive Pit Master for Memphis Championship BBQ.
